Beautiful watch perfect size. Wears beautifully on the wrist. Only complaint is that it’s so beautifully finished I don’t want to wear it so that I don’t scratch its finish. But to beautiful to leave in the winder.
I have owned and loved Citizen Eco Drive watches for years. When I learned Citizen offered an automatic watch (like my Tag Heuer), I couldn't wait to get one. The watch is exceptional in every way. The attention to detail is obvious, and although the watch is quite large, it wears exceptionally well. The 9012 movement is extremely accurate (more so than my Tag Heuer, in fact), and it easily keeps fully wound during normal wear. Although I purchased my watch with the stainless steel band, I replaced it with genuine hornback alligator straps that make the watch even more stunning. If you are looking for a top quality automatic watch that can easily compete in quality and accuracy with much more expensive Swiss examples, the Citizen Grand Touring is for you. If I had to find one fault with the watch, it would be not being able to take my eyes off it!
Dial has moved twice since owning it back around 2014. First time it was covered under the 5yr warranty but it has happened again in 2024 and repairs for dial & movement will cost ~$300. Found out this watch has been discontinued but I think I will get it fixed anyway. The watch face is stunning but I think both times when the case got a violent shock it probably broke the watch. I don't have a picture of the watch because it's in repair but it's similar to the other review from Harold.
I purchased my watch because it was self winding, sapphire crystal and durability of the watch. Big mistake. Watch is undependable, i have to keep a jeweler screw driver to constantly tighten watch band screws. I've sent it back to citizen twice for the same problem. Same problem just happened again, face jyst started turning.
