Eco-Drive One
What happens when elevated engineering and next-level technology come together in a single timepiece? The Eco-Drive One from Citizen answers that question, with it best known as the thinnest analog, light-powered watch in the world. This hand-assembled masterpiece measures only 3.88mm thick in a one-piece construction, with its 38.6mm DLC-coated stainless steel case taking inspiration from the luxury sports watches of the 1970s in its modified pentagonal shape and hardy 50m water resistance.
Beneath a 0.15mm sapphire crystal resides a dial of the same thickness, with the crystal featuring a "Clarity" coating for superior readability. The dial features a metal construction, with a simple time-only aesthetic, keeping the attention of the watch on its essential elements. Inside the timekeeper, the Eco-Drive Caliber 8826 is at work, being powered by light and capable of 12 months of run time off a single full charge courtesy of a rechargeable 3.7V power cell from Maxell, the result is a breakthrough watch the world has never before seen.
