Reviews
Excellent build quality, reliable, and durable
I bought one of these in 2010 or a bit before, and liked it so much I bought a second one a few years later so as to have one for field work and one without all the wear and tear for more formal occasions. I wear this watch daily in all conditions, including swimming, fieldwork in the jungle, on boats, while traveling, and more. For my fieldwork one I've swapped the band for a fabric one. It's a solid, reliable watch that remains accurate, and not having to fiddle with the date or with batteries/winding is fantastic. The dual time zones is very useful. It's nice to have the chronograph, but I never use it as it's a bit fiddly to shift over to that setting. Setting the watch initially is a bit complicated, but not difficult, and once set you don't have to worry about it again. The only complaint is that the alarm is so faint as to be nearly unnoticable. You can't use it as a wake-up alarm and if it's noisy you likely won't hear it even if you are awake.
Super light, super right
Bought this watch while travelling in Feb of 2009. Worn it several times snorkeling, never leaked or fogged up. Accurate time keeping--once you set the calendar you literally never have to touch it again. Comparing it to my radio controlled citizens there is never more than a few seconds difference. Just wish I could remove the daily wear scratches.
