BEAUTIFUL WATCH
I brought this about three months ago, i cant stop looking at it. The hands just look awesome and stay lit all night and looks and feels so well made. I have a Rolex sub and i wear my citizen just as much.
Fantastic watch
I consider myself a watch guy, and as such I don't usually go quartz movement. That said, I was looking for a daily wear watch that looks great and has a nice chrono (I'm a private pilot). I've been intrigued by the eco-drive technology as being innovative and a significant step up from a standard quartz movement. I've been thrilled with the purchase. The watch and band are top quality with a nice weight to them. I've been impressed with the accuracy. It is still spot on to the minute with my iPhone after 2 months. The additional features of perpetual calendar and dual time zone are awesome. They would be way out of my price range in an automatic or manual but are incredibly nice to have on a daily wear. So do I miss the automatic movement? I did for a day or two as I looked on at the tick of second hand instead of the sweep. I'm a moron, but it just bothered me. Then I realized that by switching to chrono mode, the second hand stayed still at 12 o'clock while the chrono feature wasn't being used. No sweep, but no tick either. Now the watch is perfect.
Citizen Octavia Watch both classy and full feature
This is my first Citizen Eco drive watch and I love it. The Octavia is stainless steel with a black face that has 3 smaller dails. It features a perpetual calendar that once it is set doesn't ever need adjustments, even on leap years. It also has an alarm. I really like the Eco drive which is solared powered. It can keep time with no sun light for up to six months. This watch is a little weighty. That is just a product of its size and materials from which it is made. The Citizen Octavia is a perfect blend of style, weight, and features.
