Reviews
I bought the watch new during its introduction
This watch was off market 5 years ago. It was limited edition for 2500. Looks like the other reviews are from used watches or fakes
Broken Band - familiar story it looks like
I bought this watch NEW from a Citizen dealer approximately 4 years ago. It is one of many watches in my stable, but I wore it regularly for approximately 1 year and the band broke. While inspecting the band, I noticed that it was also about to break in a different area. I know Citizen did not intend to sell a $900 watch with such an inferior band. This material must be defective.
Love the watch. Hate the band.
Bought this watch a little over a year ago. I hardley wear the watch and the rubber strap broke. It cost me $160 to replace it. 3 month later the new strap broke after wearing the watch 7 times for a couple of hours each time. We had to fight Citizen to have them replace the strap for free. Love the watch but hate the rubber strap. Now I am afraid to wear the watch. If only I could replace it with a steel strap.
Problems with materials in this watch band....
I really love CITIZEN watches and this model in particular. It meets all my needs in a watch and then some. Vey classy with the Rose Gold, smart face, easy to read and sets the time automaticly. You may ask why would I not give it a five? The band is the problem. As a previous review states it fell apart and I quit wearing it for the past 8 months. My wife made me purchase the replacement band at $145.00 after calling me cheap.. But for the price of the watch the band should be either better quality or cheaper to replace. . I just ordered the replacement band but when it goes I'm going for a different style of band.. Btw Citizen watches run forever so I know this band will not hang in as long as this watch will run. At 70 I may be gone before the watch stops. ;' ) Suggestion as a limited edition watch "CITIZEN" should step up and replace the band for free...
Worthless watch band
Bought this at Christmas Eve, 2015. August, 2017, the watch band suddenly broke. I started looking at each link and found each one had cracked and was on the verge of breaking. The material seemed to be disintegrating. I would think a $700.00 would have a band that would last longer regardless of the material it was made from. Greatest problem is, this is a limited edition and there seems to be no way to replace it.
