Reviews
It's a rebal pilots watch... Enough said.....
So when I first saw citizen announce this line up of star wars watches I pretty instantly fell for this Skywalker model. I mean it's a rebal pilot watch! Enough said for those as nerdy and into star wars as I am. Overall the watch has a nice weight and feels of good quality. To be expected from citizen, this probably my 5 or 6th citizen I've owned and they've all been extremely reliable and accurate! (often far better than their estimated +/- 15s a month). To many at first Glace on your wrist it would appear to be a stylish normal watch. The subtle star wars touches aren't incredibly obvious until directly looking at the face of the watch. I wore this for a trip to galaxy's edge and like all my other citizens was a joy to have on my wrist! The band is also surprisgly comfy! If I have one complaint about the watch it's the choice of hands for the subdials especially for the running seconds and 24hr. They are just kind of difficult to read with the hands they've chosen. They're certainly good enough but to my eyes especially the 24hr indicator is really just useful for a broad am/pm indication at best which is maybe just a small sacrifice for the black and yellow ejection button dial. It definitely looks very cool and adds to the pilots watch appeal. Another point that while not necessarily a gripe just more like missed opportunity would have been to add green lume to the chronographs lightsaber second hand! Idk how they dropped the ball on that one. Overall I'm incredibly happy with my purchase! I was surprised to find that the best price I could find online was direct from citizen. Shipping was reasonably fast and the watch arrived in excellent condition nothing to complain about. Not sure who this review will help since I believe they're now all sold out but for all of you looking on the used market I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
