Reviews
The multi-faced analog dial is easy to read & set
I bought this watch a month ago for my father, he loves it. Not too heavy, great style, everything he wants in a wristwatch without the bother of batteries or winding.
Happy with purchase
Great dial!!
Overall impression of this watch is very solid. If you’re referencing this review in consideration of an internet purchase, the dial impresses far beyond what pictures can depict. The dial is an acrylic like mosaic of inlay of color blocks to create a camo pattern; this creates depth and at direct angles of the dial to the eye, highlights specific colors “popping” with the light. It is bit a flat boring camo pattern. The contrasting silver/black hour indices and matching hands provide a nice contrast with a subtle flash of bling… very subtle, just the right amount. The inner gray bezel is a bit plastic looking, not perfectly fitting the rest of the package. The bracelet is very high quality, though preferring lighter more comfortable wears on the wrist, i swapped out a deep green silicon 22mm bracelet and it looks and feels dope. This will well with plenty of straps, next look is a desert tan, pretty sure it will ignite. The only 2nd drawback is the lume. It is extremely bright when charged, but fades quickly and seems to take a lot of bright light to take a charge. Don’t expect to go from low but visible light to dark and see the lume. When fully charged th out, while still in the light, it is brilliant against that dial. All in all, great watch. Happy with the purchase.
Very Nice, But Not Exactly...
Just received this watch yesterday (3/1/22). Very early to write a review and will likely need to circle back to update. However, some noticeable issues: 1) the image of the watch on the website is much "brighter" and has greater clarity than the actual watch. The camos is not as prominent and, in fact, it is somewhat underwhelming. 2) the hands are difficult to see, even in fairly direct light. 3) the description on the website mentions "luminous hands and markers" - not so. They are shinny and reflective, but not luminous by any means. I do like the weight and feel of the watch and the bezel of the tachymeter feature is a light gray which compliments the dark of the overall watch very nicely. As I mentioned, this is a very early review and am sure I will grow to really appreciate this timepiece in short time. I just wanted to provide feedback for anyone interested in it and maybe on the fence...
Handsome, comfortable watch,but......
Purchased a month ago, wanted a black sport watch. Looked good in the jewelry case, and is very comfortable to wear. However, the hands are not luminous and really blend in with the face. Impossible to tell the time if not in direct lighting , and even then it's tricky. Would be nice if Citizen could swap out the hands for something you could see. Kind of defeats the purpose of wearing a watch.
Luminous Hands and Markers - Don't work
I just received this NightHawk watch and was really looking forward to it, but the luminous hands and markers are not functioning or are not present. Very hard to read the time. I might return it.
What features
I bought this a few months ago. Not at all happy. Stops working. The Dasate doesn't always change. The Middle screw pops out or something. Cannot read it at night. And forget about registering it. The numbers don't seem to coincide.
Disappointed with the watch
I'm disappointed with the tach in a whole. The hands blend in with the bezel, so it makes it extremely difficult to tell the time. I would not recommend this watch to anyone.
