I wanted an Atomic watch for my collection and decided to buy this one after doing my research. I wanted a clean dial, easy to operate and classy watch with a nice design steel bracelet. I received the watch, updated the time with the Colorado signal, and in a snap, it was perfectly calibrated. I red somewhere online, prior to deciding on buying this watch, an owner talking about the light refraction on the striated blue dial. This morning I was driving with this watch under the Florida sun (around 11:30 am) and there it was; the light refracted on the dial, creating a rainbow under the sapphire crystal. That owner comment was spot on right! the light refraction was a worthy, colorful, surprise show. I wish I could post a photo for the next person interested on buying this watch.
If having a precise timepiece is very important, then this AT (Atomic Time) is the answer. It’s the second Citizen watch I bought for my husband and he is thrilled by this watch. Sync’d with Fort Collins, CO for their time signal and hubby knows he is calibrated. Got a great price too, directly from Citizen Watch, so no need to hop all over the Internet looking for the best price. Never needs a battery is the second best feature of this watch. Spoil him...surprise him with this watch!

Radio Control Is The Way To Go
The radio controlled Eco-Drive is the only way to go. This is my second such watch, the first of which is in need of repair after 5.5 years of daily service. Upon receiving this watch and charging it, I set it on the window ledge, pushed a button for manual update and 15 minutes later the watch was properly set with correct date and time. Couldn't have been easier to set. I will note that the on-line manual fails to discuss how to resize bracelet. I did accomplish this on my own though.
Beautiful dial, slim design
Just recently purchased watch. Took a few hours in the sun to charge. Locked in and right before my eyes. Date changed and time updated.
