Favorite Watch
This is elegant watch is my favorite piece of my collection. I have to fight myself to not wear it everyday. It’s a perfect beautiful watch which I am regularly complemented about the watch.
Lightweight and beautiful
Beautiful piece..glad to have a chance to have this limited edition drop
Cosmos titanium atomic watch
Stunning watch. Large enough to be easily readable yet thin and light enough to be an every day wear. Every detail is elegant yet rugged and on the masculine side. I could not be happier as this is probably the most I have spent on a watch in a long time and I am exceptionally pleased.
Beautiful and comfortable
I'm very pleased with this watch, it's very thin and light but with an impressive presence due to it's 43 mm face diameter. The case thickness measures only 10.1 mm which is thin enough to easily slide under sleeves without looking unnaturally flat. I'm especially impressed with the tool-less micro-adjust feature built into the band. It allows the easy re-sizing of the band to three different positions if your wrist changes size through the day/year. It's implemented in a very elegant and easy to use fashion that has no downside as far as I can see. The black titanium case and band are gorgeous and I expect them to be very durable (being Citizen's proprietary Super Titanium). It has a black metallic sheen like the mineral hematite when polished smooth. Like my Citizen World Chronograph-AT, the sapphire crystal is set ever so slightly higher than the bezel. I don't imagine this is a problem (it hasn't been on the WC-AT) but I thought I would mention it. The face of the watch is a deep blue with star highlights that have a subtle sparkle to them when they reflect light. It makes a nice background to set off the luminous hour markers, each one capped by a small, round metallic gold-colored button about 1 mm in diameter. I find the effect to quite nice, looking neither busy nor too plain. The overall effect creates interest while remaining pleasing and interesting to look at. It's also very easy to read in low light due to having plenty of contrast between the hands/markers and the deep blue star field background. This watch looks much better in real life, with more color and depth than the photo on the Citizen website makes it look. The city names around the bezel do not look as white and harsh as the photo depicts, the hour markers do not appear so chunky and the white lettering under the crystal looks slightly finer and more subtle. The photo almost makes the tiny buttons that cap each hour marker and the second hand look like yellow/green luminous paint but both are polished gold-toned metal. The black Super Titanium case looks shinier and more metallic/ceramic in real life. The over all effect is very pleasing. The watch arrived set to Tokyo time but was able to connect to the nuclear time server in the middle of a cloudy day when I set it on the patio table. This is something my other radio-controlled Citizens watches cannot do, at least not with any reliability, since I live in the extreme northwestern corner of Washington State. Generally, they can only connect in the middle of the night. I set them side by side on the table in manual connection mode and my Citizen World Chronograph-AT (AT8020-03L) timed out after about 3 minutes without fetching the time while the Super Titanium Atomic Timekeeping watch kept trying and after about 10 minutes synchronized perfectly. With it's slim, light-weight comfortable wearing, easy to micro-adjust band, sapphire crystal, subtle good-looks and locked onto atomic time and date with no batteries needed, this one's a winner. I'm not that familiar with how long various limited edition watches take to sell out but I can't imagine a watch this beautiful and with only 2200 copies made for sale worldwide, will last for too long.
