Satellite Wave GPS Diver 200M
Super Titanium™
Part of the Promaster Sea collection, the Eco-Drive Satellite Wave GPS is the world’s first light-powered watch with GPS satellite capabilities and 200-meter depth diving function. The grey Super Titanium case is designed for ease of use and durability, and is paired with a marine blue dial and matching Polyurethane band. It gives top priority to diver safety — by pressing the buttons at 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock simultaneously, the watch enters Dive mode, where all functions, except time display, will be ceased to prevent erroneous user time operations.

"creme de la creme"
beautiful & gorgeous watch with gas hardening black titanium coating which will not scratch and tarnish compared to the black pvd titanium coating
ULTiMATE WATCH, ESPECiALLY FOR DiVE WATCH FANS
first off, it is a large watch. i would not purchase this unless you can stand a 47mm (including crown size...each of the 3 crowns). but being titanium it is not unduly heavy. also the rubber strap cuts down on weight over a metal strap. that said, aesthetically it's stunning. the classic diver heritage is addressed with a very basic, classic round style, almost a milsub look, with the hardened titanium being dark grey. the dial is not only super visible in all respects, and big, with very very bright lume including a bright lume pip, the look of everything is best described as classic milsub diver with a slight modern look, though generally conservative. the screwdown crown and operating buttons (non-screw) also look like that of a military chrono, but are for setting. it sets into numerous time zones, both manually and via satellite radio control worldwide, or manually. being an OCD type, i only bought this once i verified via numerous video reviews that the second hand sticks the sweep second hand exactly on the markers ('stick' being an appropriate term used in gymnastics, meaning to hit a landing right on the money, and this does). the aesthetics of the whole thing work perfectly to create one of the best looking timepieces i've ever seen or worn. i'm not a fan of black watches as it's hard to see them and appreciate them at a glance, but this is more a dark anodized grey, and IMO is a full step ahead of the green dial/steel color case version (which is in fact also hardened titanium). this also has other functions, some of which i know not. but it does have all the dive functions i use, not to dive but to time my coffee, etc. which gets us to the 120 click unidirectional bezel, which like the sweep second hand, sticks it right on the money... no misalignment here (as in some other brand which some may be aware of). with solar recharging, satellite repeated daily readjustment, and an expected 20 year or more lifespan, this is truly a wear and forget piece. no $250 to $500 servicings (depending on your brand) every 5 years. just enjoy. which i truly am.
Functional, accurate, and beautiful watch
This is a beautiful and functional Eco-Drive watch -- one of few made by Citizen that you can buy that is stamped as "Made in Japan". It has a rotating uni-directional bezel, 38 time zone markers, and displays/indicators for the day of the week, battery reserve, and instantaneous battery charging strength. GPS location and time updates occur using Citizen's F158 movement; location updates must occur manually and this process is relatively quick; also, since DST is not part of a GPS signal, this setting must be set manually too (if needed where you live). In contrast to Citizen's AT watches, time updates 'only' occur if, among other conditions, "the watch has not received a satellite signal for 6 days or more". GPS time updates have been quite fast -- maybe within 15 seconds when attempting an indoor synchronization by my window -- and I have not noticed any perceptible time drift even following one week without a time sync. Some additional observations: the watch's lug width is 22 mm; and minute hand updates occur every 10 (00; 10; 20; etc.) seconds. There is a huge power reserve (2 years nominal once fully charged; 7 years when in power saving mode); and a plethora of additional technical details regarding the innovations and features of this watch also can be found on Citizen Watch's global website.
Very Impressed
This watch checked all my boxes for features, and with the 10% Fathers Day discount it was too good to pass up. More than I really needed to spend on a watch, but after receiving it and wearing it for a week, I am convinced I made the right choice. It is a beautiful design, and highly functional. The "fit and finish" are actually not done justice by the website photos; it looks good on the site, but is stunning in person. Looking forward to using it for some dives.
