Each Series8 timepiece makes use of one of three Citizen mechanical calibers—each equipped with automatic functionality and enhanced magnetic resistance alongside a significantly thinner movement profile. These include the Caliber 0950 (870 models), the Caliber 9051 (831 and 890 models), and the Caliber 9054 (880 models).

Series8 watches feature in-house automatic movements with strong anti-magnetic resistance (up to 16,000 A/m) and a high-beat frequency for precision. Their multi-piece cases combine brushed and polished finishes for a refined, dynamic look, while textured dials—drawn from Tokyo’s skyline and Japanese motifs—balance visual depth with readability. Finished with comfortable H-link bracelets, they’re built for all-day wear.

Series8 calibers are built for precision and everyday performance. The 0950 leads with enhanced accuracy (-5/+10 seconds per day) and a 50-hour power reserve, while all movements feature 16,000 A/m anti-magnetic resistance, 24 jewels, and a high-beat frequency of 28,800 v/h. The 9051 offers a date function, while the 9054 adds GMT for tracking multiple time zones.
